Community Response to Sexual Assault

The southern Arizona community takes an active stand against sexual violence. Together with our community partners, the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault works to increase awareness about sexual violence in our communities, while decreasing its amount and impact.

Local businesses and individuals generously contribute their time and resources to the Center's efforts. Whether in the form of volunteering, participating in our annual Dine Out for Safety fundraiser, making in-kind donations or attending a Cafecito at Su Voz Vale, our work could not be done without the support of this community.

With our partners in law enforcement and emergency health care, the Center participates in and currently chairs the Sexual Assault Collaboration. To learn more about the Collaboration, click here.

With our partners in law enforcement and the human service community, the Center is an active member of the Inter-Agency Council, which discusses and takes action on a broad range of issues relating to sexual offenses and sexual violence.

The Center is beginning a new collaborative effort to enhance our services to people with disabilities. The Southern Arizona Sexual Assault Disability Coalition is always seeking new members from the disability, human service, health care, behavioral health and law enforcement communities.

We are also cultivating relationships with our media partners to increase public awareness about sexual violence in our communities. These partners are helping us break the silence of this silent epidemic.

Getting involved has never been easier. Please join the united community front that's saying an emphatic "NO!" to sexual violence in the southern Arizona community.
