Our community is rich with events that raise awareness about sexual violence.
Events Coming Soon for Sexual Assault Awareness Month
On Wednesday, April 19, meet your friends and family at a participating restaurant and a portion of your bill will be donated back to SACASA's programs that provide critical crisis support services and long-term mental health services for children, individuals, and families affected by sexual violence. Many local Tucson restaurants will generously donate up to 20% of their dinner proceeds to support the mission of ending sexual violence in our community. And, local businesses will be donating prizes for a raffle to benefit SACASA. Raffle tickets will also be available for sale at participating restaurants. >> Click here to learn more about Dine Out For Safety. To view the press release, click here.
Take Back the Night is an annual event celebrated around the world to speak out against sexual violence, raise awareness, and support survivors. The first Take Back the Night in the United States took place in 1973, and our community takes pride in our efforts to observe and honor this tradition each year. >> Like the Take Back the Night Facebook page to keep track of the 2016 details. >> Click here to follow the Take Back the Night Facebook page for updates
