If the assault happened more than 72 hours (3 days) ago you can request an exam to make sure there is no trauma, and also do all STD and pregnancy testing. The only thing we can't provide is forensic evidence collection as has been too long since the assault. Remember, we will still send an advocate to the hospital to provide support and resources. You can still report to police.
You may also report to police, even if there is no forensic evidence. If you decide to report the assault to the police, it is important not to destroy any potential evidence. If you still have the clothes you were wearing during the assault, be sure to put them in a paper bag. Take a change of clothes with you to the hospital.
