Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month -- in Tucson, it's TucSAAM! In an effort to inform the public and support survivors of sexual violence, local victim service agencies, advocacy groups, law enforcement agencies and legal rights organizations have come together to promote TucSAAM across Southern Arizona. Educational events, media outreach and digital campaigns are scheduled throughout the month.

What's Happening during TucSAAM?

Here's how you can show your support for sexual assault survivors in the Greater Tucson area during TucSAAM:

Join the TucSAAM Kick Off Event on Wednesday, April 3 at 9:30 AM at the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (1600 N. Country Club Rd). Remarks by local dignitaries, community performances, refreshments and networking with local organizations that support sexual assault survivors. Remember to wear teal!

Support survivors of sexual assault through CODAC’s SACASA program by purchasing a 2024 #TucSAAM T-Shirt. Sales end 3/14/2024.

Participate in one of the many Sexual Assault Awareness events happening around Pima County in April.
