Founding Members Reception. 4:00-5:30pm. Imagine a world with no crisis response or support services for survivors of sexual violence. On April 7, hear the founding members of the Center talk about how they changed the world. You'll learn about the history of Southern Arizona's rape crisis movement from its beginnings as Women Against Rape through the Tucson Rape Crisis Center to the present-day Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault . This is a rare opportunity to honor the mothers of our movement and reflect on how far we've come--and how far we have to go. |
