The 2020 Dine Out For Safety has been postponed
It’s with utmost respect for the health of our community that we have decided to postpone the 2020 Dine Out For Safety. Originally scheduled for April 15, 2020, the date falls within a window of uncertainty about the spread of COVID-19 in Southern Arizona. Therefore, we are acting with caution for restaurant staff, patrons and volunteers, as well as with awareness of challenges this time may cause for the local restaurants who so willingly signed on to support sexual assault survivors.
Because Dine Out For Safety is a critical awareness- and fund-raising event for the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA) – and victims of sexual violence – we definitely plan to reschedule within the calendar year. Therefore, we’re hopeful we can retain your sponsorship with a commitment to fulfill the obligations we made to promote your support.
Show Your Support
Unfortunately, sexual violence doesn't stop in times of pandemic and quarantine. In fact, it often gets worse. You can help: make a charitable gift today!
Through April 14th, you can still make a gift to SACASA to support victims of sexual violence, and it qualifies for the dollar-for-dollar Arizona state tax credit on your 2019 taxes! Or make a gift any time, and it can qualify on your 2020 taxes.
SACASA is a division of CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness. We serve the working poor and are a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO) for the tax credit. You can read more about this here. Simply make a donation to SACASA online and use QCO code 20455 when filing your taxes.
We are not tax advisors, so please be sure to consult one if you have any questions.
Dine Out Will Be Back
